Highly Viscous, Resistant to Solids, Self-Priming, Road Tanker Pump
A waste management company was looking for a powerful pump for a road tanker. As the road tanker had to transport different media, the waste management company was looking for a pump, which could handle solvants, oil residues, sludge and different chemicals. Furthermore, the pump had to have a small footprint, to use as little space as possible on the road tanker.
The waste management company decided in favor of a Accuvon rotary lobe pump AP 120. The compact pump is driven via the hydraulic motor. As the rotary lobe pump is operated in reverse operation, the road tanker is filled and discharged with the same pipe connection system.
The Accuvon rotary lobe pump is built very easy to maintain. The rotors can be exchanged within a few minutes via the quick release cover. The waste management company has big advantages here. Corresponding to the medium that has to be pumped, the company changes the lobes in the pump. This way, the operator has always the ideal lobes for each medium and avoids needless abrasion.
